Congress Retreat

The article I would like everyone one to take a gander at written by Laurie Kellman titled “Congress retreats, luxuriously”. This article points out that while deservingly so congress has been pointing the finger at corporate executes for the luxury resort retreats and lavish spends, those other four fingers on the same hand was pointing back at them and their lavish retreats. To quote, House Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson when asked about the last three day $100.000 retreat "It's serious and it's from morning till night. We've been dwelling, rightfully, on the economy." These retreats also include lobbyist although they should not talk business “lobbyists are discouraged from talking about business on behalf of their clients during the retreat.” You should read this article, because it shows both parties evoking their special privileges. Another example of the pot calling the kettle black, so please follow this links to read. http://www.statesman.com/ and http://www.statesman.com/news/content/shared-gen/ap/US_Congress/Congress_Retreat.html#
